Young Urban Pioneers
This LEADERSHIP SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM is an exciting new program designed to improve the Leadership and Communication skills of young people 14-21 years old.
After School Education Program
This program provides homework assistance, snacks and hot evening meals to almost 1200 elementary school children in a fun-filled environment throughout the school year. The children are daily escorted from the local schools to CNC.
Aleene Logan Preschool Center and Louis A. Fickling Child Development Center
Over 120 children receive quality education programming in a safe and nuturing environment on weekdays from 8am to 6pm.
Youth Employment Skills Development Program
The YESb Program is to help improve the ability to attain self-sufficiency by enhancement of employment skills and/or educational referrals. To achieve these goals participants will navigate through a four (4) week course including Education/Employment Counsel, Intro to the Computer instructions, and/or internship.
Summer Day Camp
Our Summer Day Camp offers safe, structured recreation, and activities during the summer months for children ages six through twelve. The program runs for eight weeks, from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. Campers travel to museums, parks and take in a variety of summer activities in the nearby tri-state area.
Fresh Air Fund
This summer program is supported by the New York Fresh Air Fund and registers approximately 500 youth for ten-day summer vacations in Friendly town and SleepAway-Camps.
F.A.T.H.E.R.S. Program
Fathers that have been through our program say they have the skills to "feel like the world's best dad." Through evening workshops, seminars, parenting classes and more, young fathers get the necessary support to better co-parenting role and enjoy their children.
